Pan-African Night Began 3years ago on SU’s campus as a collaborative event
portraying the African Diaspora. This year’s Pan-African Night will be
represented as a tribute to the past, taking our roots back to the era of
slavery and colonialism. Our goal this year is to present and showcase the
origin of diversity, of people of African descent not only in Africa but
also, in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. As one of SU’s
biggest celebrations and a platform in highlighting the rich culture of the
African Diaspora, this year’s performances will include…..

-Wacheva African Drumming and Dance Group
-Redemption A Cappella Singing Group
-Heritage Dance Group- SUNY Oswego
- Sankofa Rein Action- ASU
- Nayma and Rafael Balbi-Raices Dance Company
-Caryn Saunders
