St Vincent-born single mother wins British army discrimination payout
LONDON, England (AFP) — A single mother from the Caribbean island of Saint Vincent, who suffered race and sex discrimination while serving in the British army was awarded over 17,000 pounds (26,000 dollars) at an employment tribunal on Friday.
